WOVENS

WOVEN INTO THE WORLD OF WENDELL

Woven fusibles play a pivotal role in establishing the structural foundation of garments. Our manufacturing processes are designed to accommodate a wide range of tensile strengths and various denier yarns, offering versatility in weaving. Our polyester yarns undergo a meticulous twisting process to ensure optimal quality and strength. Utilizing methods such as water jet production and textured weft weaving machines, we craft our wovens to meet diverse requirements. Post-weaving, we employ finishing techniques to enhance performance, including standard coloring, DTM (Dye to Match), and optional shrinkage control. Our lighter weight weaving techniques excel in delivering exceptional bi-stretch and 8-way stretch characteristics. Additionally, our weaving process allows for customization, providing options for no stretch in both warp and weft or specific combinations to complement outer fabrics. The final touch involves processing our woven fabrics with double dot coating technology, featuring 'dot on dot' application for quick fusing, durability, and ease of wash and dry cleaning. The range of dot sizes is meticulously matched with the shell fabric and application, while our high-quality resin formulation ensures the creation of an impeccable foundation for the perfect interlining.

Textile Industry

STABLE & CONTROL PRODUCT SERIES

In the realm of design, the desired behavior of interlining varies — at times, it should seamlessly move with the fabric, while in other instances, it must offer limited stretch and heightened stability to effectively control specific areas. Wendell's adept development team has identified a valuable niche for these woven items, particularly in waistband applications and lapel areas. The crux lies in pinpointing the optimal weave variation, considering factors such as denier, density, and thread counts. As manufacturers, we take immense pride in our development team's continuous exploration and testing of new yarns. This commitment extends to their integration into our diverse weaving technologies, encompassing both air looms and water jet looms. This meticulous approach ensures that our interlinings not only meet but exceed the dynamic demands of evolving design requirements.

ELASTICITY & STRETCH SERIES

Our water jet looms excel in providing optimal bi-elastic stretch across various weights and textures by adjusting factors like texture, thread counts, deniers, and adhesive technologies. We've increased warp and weft stretch from 0% to an impressive 25% in each direction, ensuring full recovery and control. Our technicians have matched over 200 standard shell fabrics to our interlining offerings, swiftly and accurately using our comprehensive database. In our dedicated lab, we provide mockups with customers' fabrics, ensuring certainty and delivering superior final results. This showcases our commitment to innovation and meeting unique client requirements.

ULTRA LIGHT SERIES

The incorporation of low denier yarns has revolutionized our weaving technology, pushing the boundaries for super-light and flowing wovens that seamlessly complement today's super-light woven transparent outer fabrics and lightweight fabric designs. Our diverse yarn collections, including textured, filament, and ply yarns, combined with our expertise in weaving twill, plain, and satin, provide an abundance of options. Particularly well-suited for small part applications, our lighter weight wovens shine in enhancing lapels, darts, fronts, waistbands, and zipper fly applications. This innovation underscores our commitment to versatility and meeting the evolving demands of modern fabric designs.
